MP5
As I recall, many (most? all?) of the Billistics mfg MP5's were registered receiver guns, converted so that they would accept a lower trigger group of the "two pin" configuration. The one in the picture (of this post) seems to have a metal trigger group - wasn't that the HK94 type? - but modified (?) as a two-pin lower. Am I seeing/recalling that correctly? And if yes, could a factory (plastic) MP5 lower trigger group be seamlessly substituted for the metal trigger group as depicted, and function reliably without additional alteration to either the gun (receiver) or the lower trigger group? Doug G
Hi, yes, it is a metal trigger group housing and a two-pin configuration. I haven't tried to put a newer plastic trigger group on it but I can try it and let you know.
flgunguy
A picture of the receiver with the lower removed would answer everyone's questions.
