GUNBUGS
Another forum member and I are discussing RAMO guns. I'm of the opinion that RAMO is post WW2 and didn't exist prior to the 70's. He is of the opinion that they made guns during WW2. Anybody have any info?
riflejunky
Ramo Defense Systems did not exist during WW2. It was founded in 1977 by Pony Maples and Kay Horton. They were a military contractor building .50 M2’s.
johnsonlmg41
And like many other people in the gun business went through ownership changes and eventually got into serious trouble both financially and legally. There was a good run of many side plates and complete builds before it went off the rails.
