riflejunky
I am wondering if a RAMO side plate gun qualifies for C&R?

C&R allows for shipment to your address...all other aspects of a transfer on Form 4 are retained, such as the $200, fingerprint cards, etc.

So it would ship to me immediately and I’d have it while the form 4 was being processed. Makes sense since I’d transfer it on a form 4 if it was sold at that point. Thanks for your comment #1 That is not how it works. You file the form 4 with your curio and relic license information and when the form clears the item can then ship to you but not before the form clears. It just allows you to buy C&R items from out of state without going through an instate dealer saving you time and the cost of an additional stamp. Thanks for your comment #1 riflejunky is correct...no physical transference can take place until that transfer has been approved by ATF. They are aftermarket guns and not original manufacture. If they were made prior to 1972, then most likely will transfer as C&R.
