Posted February 24, 2022 Report Share Posted February 24, 2022 I emailed Ruger , who is currently producing the new stainless Marlin 1895 in .45/70 and asked about production of future models and calibers. Although they would not commit to the exact calibers planned, they implied the .444 Marlin and .450 Marlin will possibly be in the new caliber lineup. They also indicated the Model 336 will be coming back too. Personally I always wanted a .444 lever action Marlin, but never acted on it before the company folded. Someone please correct me if that's wrong. Went with a Browning BLR in .450 Marlin for now. Nice lever action but I still have the Marlin itch.
