You Need to Check E Form Inventory

A suggestion to those who use E Forms. Since the recent renovation, I noticed one NFA item was not in my inventory.

I then checked all open items not transferred and found that two were not in my inventory. After submitting a e mail

to Nfafax@atf,gov along with the copies of incoming form 3s, a specialist made whatever correction to get them in

my inventory. On the phone they confirmed that it was registered to me but if it doesnt show in E forms, you can not click on it to transfer it

I suggest you print out the list of what E forms shows and check each line item to your log book

Glad you posted this. Definitely good advice as this may not be an isolated issue.

We had the exact same thing happen with our eForms recently - when they launched the new eForms site we noticed one NFA item had disappeared from the eForms inventory list - that specific item had been listed there prior to their new site launch.  Emailed nfafax@atf.gov on 1/15/2022 with a written description of the issue in an attached signed document and have heard nothing back by email, phone or otherwise.  How long did it take a specialist to contact you to resolve the issue?

Had a suppressor get removed from eforms because another sot used that SN.  After numerous phones calls and other BS they said it could never be on eforms, because that was so sacred they couldn't change it. Now I have a paper only suppressor, try selling that

Took over a month of calls, up the chain to a supervisor, wet sign letter saying that the form 4 was not from me even though none of the info was mine. Then they couldnt add it back.

Man I wonder how the efile form 4s are going to work. If guns can just magically drop off your alls inventory just makes me worried about if I get pulled over an they can’t find out I own the dam thing because there system failed to maintain a true accurate list of ownership of the item sounds like a lot of potential of being wrongful arrested.

Computers are causing problems. I would take a paper copy with me to prevent problems. Local law enforcement is not going to look at your electronic device. Bring paper.

Why would the leo look at anything?

Actually they can ask but the form 4 is a protected tax document and doesnt have to be hared with anyone except the doj/atf/irs.

Just thought to mention that the eForm list is a bit screwy. I had a SBS listed twice.. really weird with the Manufacturer being different.

I had my IOI come over for an inspection and I had discussed that with them (2 people). They looked it up and said there's only one listed in the system for me. Weird.

Well I was talking about the atf not being able to look up an confirm I owned the NFA item. But me personally I wouldn’t an will not show local Leo my papers unless they are willing to bust out their w2 an their wife’s w2. tax info for tax info is a fair trade lmfao
