Original Rare Colt Thompson C-Drum #2841

100 year old C-Drum, made for the 1921 Colt Thompsons. Front and back have matching numbers. ( 2841 )

Correct nickel rotor, feed paws in excellent condition. Outer rim and back side of cover show original finish and sand blast marks. 

Doesn't appear to have been used much at all. Price is $6750. obo + ship & Insurance in CONUS only.

I was asked about the sand blast marks mentioned in the description, hope this will explain.

On the backside of the lid, there should be sand blast spots. If you don't see these, then likely there has been a refinish. The reason for these marks: 

All the original Colt era drums, both L and C, were sand or bead blasted with rotor removed and the lid installed on the body, after they were coated, thus the dull finish. The spots on the inside of the lid is where the bead blasting came thru the holes in the back of the body. There should also be a shiny ring around the edge of the body when the lid is removed. Hope this helps.
