Johnny Roastbeef
I have an old generic maker MAC / UZI can that I no longer want or need. Moving to a C3 unfriendly location and wont be taking it since I cant possess it there and wont be buying another mac for it. How do I destroy or surrender this thing legally and quickly? riflejunky
Call the local field office of the ATF and inquire with them. I crushed one years ago and mailed it to the NFA branch along with the documentation I had on the suppressor. They never contacted me further. taylorwso
Nfa handbook p 22 A silencer may be destroyed by completely severing each component by means of a cutting torch that has a tip of sufficient size to displace at least one-quarter inch of material at each cut location. Concerning the outer tube(s) of a silencer, these components may be destroyed by crushing them flat in lieu of cutting with a torch. or give it to the atf filed office. BrettBaker
Don't you have a local dealer you can sell it to?
