What would a reasonable sales price be for a Benelli M2 Tactical SBS?

There has been a couple posted on gunbroker for $900-1200 and they are sitting. It's tough if you own it personally, as to get a buyer out of state it'll take $400 in taxes alone. I got a police trade in off gunbroker a seller had for $600 each. Those all sold. Clearly could have gotten more for them.

SBSs and SBRs, like silencers, are practically worthless when used. There are rare exceptions, of course, such as a HK94 built MP5 SBR host or a genuine MP5SD silencer.

If if you check on GB, you will see that SBSs and SBRs all have exactly zero bids. As DamCv62 pointed out, the tax stamp costs and the associated wait period are the culprits that negatively affect demand. If you really want to sell it, I would remove the barrel, get a new barrel, and remove the shotgun from the NFA registry. You'll lose money as a result of having to buy the new barrel, and you won't get your tax back, but the alternative is that your SBS is practically worth zero right now.
