Type 44 #1:
This is an early variation Type 44 as produced by Koishikawa / Kokura. The rifle is in excellent condition and features all matching numbers, excellent bluing, and a very nice stock. The bore is in nice condition with sharp lands / grooves but could use a good cleaning. The bayonet mount is the earlier style which mounts more directly to the barrel . Included with the rifle is a USGI M1 carbine sling that looks to have been with it for quite some time, possibly since brought back from the war. The mum has been scrubbed.
