If you are a Sterling collector/shooter and you missed getting one of these original factory guns when they came on the market about 10 years ago, then now is your chance.
I was able to purchase this very rare C&R, transferable, Sterling L2A2 several years ago when a handful of these became available. Built in 1955, imported by Colt in 1956, they were sold by Colt to a collector in 1965 and eventually were acquired by a major dealer and put on the market in 2012.
This original MKIII Sterling has remained in its original box, completely wrapped in original wax paper / cosmoline and in my safe for the past ten years.
The factory box and kit includes: a sealed new Sterling L2A2, MKIII, 9mm, C&R Submachine gun in mint condition; rare new bayonet equally wrapped; 5 new and individually sealed original magazines packaged together within a stapled box; original factory manual; original sling in wax paper; and original box with serial number written on each end.
