13.5” long free floating hand-guard for use on AR-15 pattern rifles and carbines with barrels 14.5” or longer.
Full length continuous Picatinny rail at 12 o’clock position, and short sections of Picatinny rail at the front and rear ends for mounting tactical accessories at 3, 6, 9 o’clock positions, eliminating the commonly unused sections of rail for a more comfortable grip and a total weight of 14 oz.

Accepts all Knight's Armament URX III compatible accessories (i.e. Hand-stop, rail panels, etc - not included).

Barrel nut provided is an improvement over the factory unit, produced from heat treated 4140 Chromoly steel finished with Mil-Spec manganese phosphate. The nut's castellated design aids to resist wrench slippage. The provided barrel nut is ~ 3 times stronger than the factory aluminum barrel nut.
As an additional value, a high strength steel barrel nut wrench has been included in the package for use with the improved nut.
Knight’s does not include a wrench with the URX 3.1 hand-guard which retails for ~ $300.00 and charges ~$120.00 for their nut wrench.This package deal is nearly 50% off retail price.
