I have decided to sell a couple of my prized firearms, that I never shoot, to make room for some other projects. The first is a HK21E built by Michaels Machines on a German receiver and includes everything listed below. I hardly ever fired it since it was built for me by Mike. It just has been sitting in the safe. I have more photos available. What this means is that the factory German rails were not cut and welded back together and that the barrel shroud was not cut and welded. This ensures that the shroud and the rails are the proper length, aligned, and retain their structural integrity. Being a Registered Receiver build means this gun will run any factory HK21E or 23E parts. There are zero modified parts to this gun. This makes any parts replacements or the swapping of parts as easy as with a factory built gun. The date coded stock with the enhanced E buffer, 2nd generation forward grip stick, latest generation light weight bi-pod, German proof marked 17.7” barrel, 21E-M13 bolt carrier group, 21E-M13 feed mechanism, 21E Belt Box, and rear sight are all factory German HK parts. The rear sight is the correct and latest 1200 meter 4TH generation rear sight. This most modern sight allows both windage and elevation adjustments. You can really take advantage of the long sight radius of the full size E guns adjustable sights by using the Semi position on the 4 position ambidextrous fire control group. This latest ambi fire control group with the famous HK Pictogram markings allows Safe/Semi/3 Round Burst, and of course Fully Automatic settings. Understand that this is a belt fed machine gun that will truly shoot sub minute of angle for incredible accuracy, and with the flip of the selector, you can be sending 3 round burst or full auto 7.62 down range instantly. This is truly a great gun! It was built using a factory HK21E post sample that was sent to Mike of Michaels Machines fully intact and then it was carefully taken apart and put back together on a HK91 receiver. No cut and re-welded rails, no cut and re-welded shroud, or aftermarket weldments. This gun is absolutely beautiful and is as close to a factory gun as you can possibly get. If you have or are thinking about buying a registered sear this is a must have in your collection! The HK21E is one of the best belt fed GPMG's ever developed by HK with the modularity of each component such as the feed mechanism, bolt carrier assembly, trigger packs and barrels the gun can be configured as a 7.62x51mm or a 5.56mm. This one has the M13 bolt assembly that uses the standard M60 style M13 disintegrating links instead of the metal belts. The buyer of this HK21E will have the opportunity to purchase a 23E conversion kit ( feed mechanism, bolt carrier assembly and barrel ) if they choose to do so. HK23E Build Details Information on the HK23E German build process. The receiver is a German HK91 pre-ban rifle. It is carefully cut apart to allow the parts from a German HK23E de- milled parts kit to be installed. The front end of the HK23E is carefully disassembled by removing the old cut receiver sheet metal by his proprietary method. This method allows the rear collar/ shroud and trunnion to remain factory welded and assembled as it left Germany. This also give the most accurate reproduction of a factory gun. The 91 is mated and the side rails and trigger housing installed. It then is checked for parts fitment and assembly. When checked out it is then blasted and parkerized. The final finish is applied (Dura-coat HK black) which is the truest color match for HK weapons. After drying for about a week all parts are installed and then it is test fired. This build also included the conversion of a DLO pack to 3rb which is the way all E guns came. The E guns have a special one piece catch/trip that is different than other HK's. The fact that a DLO box is used allows this factory catch/trip to be utilized and work the matching carrier trip that would not work with other registered HK sears.
