Here we have for sale a beauty. It’s a 1897 Winchester model 97. Serial number puts it at 1929 for a manufacture year. It came to me with a chopped barrel at 19.5”. The entire gun has been meticulously cleaned and polished!! Most screws have been replaced including the extractor, ejectors and left/right shell stop screws. All matching numbers. The entire gun was sandblasted and Cerakoted a “Battle worn finish” the buttstock has been refinished and the forend will match the buttstock when complete in a few days along with the magazine tube. Mirror bore and no evidence of rust or major pitting. Might be a tiny spot here or there of pitting. But SUPER MInor! Gun is beautiful and functions 100%!!! $700 shipped and insured!
