For glock its all in the notch on the back of the feed lips. They are cut out in different shapes. As far as other mags it just depends.

Roy is no longer with us but that's only been in the last handful of years so you aren't TOO far off(OLD;) A real life Fitz.... wow that is awesome! If you could post some pictures that would be even better. I'm not sure about colt letters, but I would think a Fitz would get somebody's attention there! My brother makes a KILLING on pre ban glock mags on ebay. We're not talking a little more.... hundreds more! I would think it would be cheaper to just move to a free state but to each their own.

Just a friendly note, no offense meant in the least, a non vent rib barrel would look much better on this kind of gun. Also you might want to clarify if you will drill and tap for the rear sight in your $1000 package as you say this one came already done. Good luck in your new endeavor!

Sure looks like a closed bolt upper up me. The tube is smaller and longer than the open bolt guns

There have been a few bolts on gb lately. The feed ramp will take a special guy if it's drilled and tapped like in the pictures.... that's quite the job

Didn't somebody just post about this not long ago? Seems like there was a link to a guy with a bunch of tips and tricks. I think he made a new firing pin that wouldn't break or something. Anybody?

I just received another gun from Dave this week and everything is top notch! Definitely will keep buying from him when given the chance without a doubt.

I have never cared for porting so I've never done one for myself. Years ago(like 2005)I sent a handful of customer guns to them(Rifles and pistols of all flavors) with no complaints. Seems like I test fired a few but with a snail in a small room it's hard to judge fairly. If they are the same quality they were I think you'll be happy. I think it looks pretty clean, I believe they use EDM. I know a factory ported glock 22 will give you a hell of a headache with the same snail set up!
