  1. I like how someone’s indecision always devolves into an internet pissing contest to prove the other guy’s opinion wrong.
  2. You should push the roll pins on each and compare them. Get a few pictures, especially if you see any variations.
  3. If I read it, I wouldn’t have believed it either. When the pieces would break free inside, I would have to break them up in order to get them through the baffles. A decade plus of actual use caused it. If you bought one and talk it up with pictures online more than you use it, it won’t be an issue.
  4. Send a fake payment…I would. Use their local PD for the return address. Maybe report it once you have an address.
  5. I like how they explain the old process…a delay causes them to stop working and wait until it comes back as a proceed or denial to continue processing other paperwork. Try running a business like that in the private sector and see how long you last. I know the gubmit is a wasteful entity that wouldn’t exist without extorting taxes from the public, but that has to be absolutely the most idiotic way possible to process anything. I wonder who’s responsible for lighting the bonfire under their asses after all these years, decades for that matter. I would love to have been there to see that ass chewing.
  6. I used to be in this camp. THEN chunks of crap started coming loose in my Sandstorm causing rub and a few small strikes. A few months of cleaning procedures removed a half pound (yes, a little over 8oz) of deposits to get the weight back down to 14oz. When it gets a few ounces over that base, it gets cleaned with CLR soakings until it’s back to 14oz. Self-cleaning is a myth.
  7. I have a 760 and I think it’s the long marked piece. I bought a few of them from him back in the day. Shoot me an email, as I’m not on here frequently. I’ll go through my parts when I get a chance.
  8. I have a new SA Machine extractor. It’s for the SMG. I don’t know if it’s what you want to use, but the one I’m using has been flawless.
  9. Agreed. It certainly wasn’t the eighth generation (Greatest Generation) that decided to progressively socialize the country. I’m not going to listen to nor learn any of that garbage. I’ve yet to see any hippy boomers with the balls to stand up to and counter the commies. Trump was the closest, but the so-called right was in lockstep with the rest of the hippies. Once they’re put out to pasture, the hard work begins (right around the corner).
  10. Maybe consider there’s no more milsurp to be had. At a certain point the bolt and semi rifles were phased out with select-fire. Add to that the restrictions on parts and you get what we currently have. Also consider that forums like this have outlived their glory days. They’ve basically morphed into exclusive circular firing squads that don’t want outside opinions, etc. As a GenXer, I enjoy seeing all of the boomer/millennial blamestorming with no significant critical thought given to why things are where they are. Funny thing is despite the BS, sales are better than they’ve ever been. Apparently, someone is selling to someone that’s buying. If you think prices are bad now, wait until I retire and start selling my hoard of stuff that you will want and need. I’m set for retirement, but I’m going to have to finance my bourbon and cigar tastes which are getting more expensive. LOL!!
  11. The downside of the 76 and clones are no replacement parts or aftermarket support. I suppose if all the owner intends to do is store it, that wouldn’t be an issue. I don’t think the OP intends to store his purchase…what fun would that be? As I posted earlier, save a little more and get an Uzi. As others have suggested, get a MacLage (trailerpark Uzi).
  12. Tell them that they need to be an official treasury agent to check your paperwork.
  13. Eform 4, dealer to me, nunya, submitted early March 2023, approved in 189 days.
  14. You’re in the ballpark for an Uzi as well. If you do try junkbroker, set your max bid and forget it. Don’t get sucked into a bidding war with an idiot. I’ve found three of the four MGs that I have, here, on this site. The fourth was a purchase from a friend. This place is your best bet.
  15. I’ve bought three of my four transferable MGs right here ranging from $3.8K to $25.5K, all from private sellers. I’ve paid using USPS MO’s and a personal check (for the $25K) with no problems. I was a good customer and they were all good sellers. You’re selling…so at one point in time, you will have physical custody of the gun and the cash. Are you a bad seller? If not, what’s the problem?
