I need to cut and shorten a BERETTA 38A spare barrel and retread it for the compensator to replace a shot out 42 barrel. I know I need to tread it with a metric die. Any dimensional and tread pitch information would be greatly appreciated so I can get the right die. Thanks, Rick Judd

Since this is a open bolt barrel is a standard 9mm chamber reamer used or is there a special chamber reamer used? If so where would you obtain one?
