  1. Pretty Darn Good: Submitted for a transfer to Form 4 on January 11, 2023; approved February 22, 2023. 42 days. Best: Submitted for a transfer to Form 4 on February 24, 2024; approved March 6, 2024! 13 days!!! Both of those were electronic filings on Form 3s to Form 4s. I really hope this is an indication of the Bureau really getting things in order. I haven't tried to transfer any of my much older items that are on paper forms.
  2. Great guy. Bought a minty Mac and then some bits from him. The transactions were all smooth as glass. 10/10. I will do business with him again!
  3. Looking for original Mac 10/45 suppressors. Will consider M.A.C., RPB - Looking for clean cans: Fair/reasonable pricing is appreciated. Also, would like to buy a gently used Lage Max 11A1/15 - 5.56 upper for my little bitty Macs. Limited use and wear at a fair/reasonable price is appreciated. If no one has one they're willing to part with, I'll order one new.
  4. I sent you an email. Give me a shout. I want to order at least one.
  5. Looks very nice! Form 3 or 4? Any room to work with the Price?
  6. ***** #1: Especially seeking Mac11A1/9mm Mk-2 !!! ***** Also seeing: Max-10/31 or a Max-10/31k for my Mac10s; Max-31k for the M11A Would also consider a Max-11A1/15 Willing to pay fair prices for gently used Uppers (reasonable prices) or I’ll spend the little bit more and order them directly from Lage. Packaging and original instructions definitely preferred! READY to buy!
  7. If you still have some. I'd like one. Please send a photo and the price including shipping to Fla.
  8. There are numerous sources. One of my dealer friends who I bought mine from turned me on to (and I subsequently purchased) the publication "American Thunder - Military Thompson Submachine Guns" by Frank Iannamico. On page 380 there is an Auto-Ordnance Corporation, Williams Lane, West Hurley, New York list of the serial numbers and correlating dates of manufacture for West Hurley 1928 Thompson submachine guns produced between 1975 and 1992 as well as the special edition commemoratives which were manufactured by Auto-Ordnance: WWII Thompson Commemorative (85 made), Korean War Thompson Commemorative (145 made), and Vietnam Commemoratives (17 made). Similar and other lists are published in other books (interestingly also by Frank Iannamico) such as "United States Submachine Guns - From the American 180 to the ZX-7" on page 322. Hope that helps. I really like yours in the original box!
  9. You might also note that I even picked on myself and noted my lack of perfect knowledge in the last paragraph of my post!
  10. My apologies to anyone who read the message I posted which was posted in part on a mistake I made in reading the auction. I read the ad quickly and I'm sure others did as well. I apologize to anyone for my error who may have actually "relied" upon what I said. My humble apologies to the Sturm community.
  11. Just another update on this gentleman who presents as Hunterarmsllc1@gmail.com. He contacted me again yesterday and sent me an email asking where I'm from. I asked originally or now (since my emails clearly have a signature block with my name, address, and all that). I said ..um, look at the signature block below. Now really weird, he said in his one email "I'm in Branford, CT, do you consider shipping?" Literally one minute later, he sent another email simply writing: "F*** off" Whoa!?!?! I thanked him for promptly showing his professionalism and wished him all the best. IN MY HUMBLE OPINION YOU ALL NEED TO MAKE SURE THAT YOU STEER WAY CLEAR OF THIS PERSON! He might just have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you... cheap!!!
  12. Spoke with Kevin at GSL, he still makes 'em and will do me a nice deal. But does anyone have a nice minty 9 and a 45 that wants to deal? Reasonable prices with LOW round count or near new only please. I know my buddy Vito at OTB appears to have them in stock. I bought my first 2 or 3 from him!
  13. Seeing boxes on GB for some pretty high prices. I still haven't found a Mac10/45 with Cobray or Ingram (Cobray would be more relevant for my need). I have some of the boxes with the formed cardboard inserts. There's a Mac11/9 on GB which is the same size, but.. they're asking a good bit for it.
  14. And on a NFA Trust...that's like really un-heard of! I think what I need to do is like buy 10-20 items at a time and cross my fingers(?) Laugh!
  15. Same!!! This guy contacted me in response to my WTB original Mac10/45 box with stryofoam. Same email as you posted. Emailed him back like 6-7 times. No Joy. Hunterarmsllc1@gmail.com
  16. Understood. I have original boxes (Powder Springs era) which did not include foam and have a "form-shaped" cardboard insert and then, they switched to the Styrofoam like RPBs forward through Stephensville and beyond ....
  17. I have the right folders. I'm still particularly looking for an original fixed stock great to excellent. If someone has a parts kit with a really good stock, I'd consider buying it provided you're not asking crazy money. AND, I'm always interested in having extra parts, so if you have a folding stock in blue not stainless you willing to part with, please contact me.
  18. What to hear crazy? I submitted TWELVE (12) Form 4s starting in like August 2022 with the last form submitted on or about same date of purchase February 24, 2023. ALL TWELVE (12) items were cleared and I received all of the Forms on the exact same date - MARCH 6, 2023! That's, only 10 DAYS for the last item purchased and submitted and 193 days for the first of item submitted for transfer. For this one, I love the BATFE. Generally, you've got to love the process (well, maybe not). I'm guessing that in some crazy very small and unusual world maybe (?!?) all of my items (as really hard and unusual to imagine that would be) were assigned to same reviewer and once one of them cleared, they elected possibly to "clear out the stack" and approved everything all at once. BUT, in 20+ years of collecting, buying and selling, I have NEVER, EVER, EVER had this happen. At the very best, I might have gotten a gun with the suppressor I bought with it clear on the same day. Trusts have been a complete enigma. Spoke with Atlanta and was advised that they are being subjected to greater scrutiny, especially the older ones, and being reviewed by legal beagles more carefully for accuracy of language. I've been drafting trusts for clients and friends for 25 years +/-. TO MY DEALER FRIENDS: If by any chance whatsoever you were not already aware, with the greatest respect to all of you (C&Rs, FFLs, SOTs, and former FFLs) I urge you all to familiarize yourselves with the Presidents Recently Signed Executive Order. PLEASE be abundantly aware that on Friday, March 14, 2023, the President signed EXECUTIVE ORDER 14092: https://www.federalregister.gov/executive-order/14092 The Order directs the Secretary of Defense, Attorney General, Secretary of Homeland Security, Secretary of Health & Human Services, Secretary of Education, Secretary of Education, Secretary of Veteran Affairs, Director of the Office of Management and Budget, the Surgeon General and all heads of other agencies (= ALL GOVERNMENT agencies) amongst a whole range of other directives, to clarify the definition of who is engaged in the business of dealing in firearms,... to increase compliance with Federal background check requirements for firearm sales; prevent former FFLs whose licenses have been revoked or surrendered form continuing to engage in business; to publicly release ... inspection reports of FFL dealers cited for violations, .... Effectively the Order directs ALL agencies to strictly enforce established laws, scrutinize sales, publish all violations determined by inspection reports of FFL dealers. I've had whole host of my Dealer friends subjected in just the past weeks to agonizingly intensive inspections, violations and fines including revocation of licenses. A Copy of the Federal Register version and an unofficial version are attached. Please Familiarize yourselves with this Order and be AWARE of its ramifications!
  19. Looking to buy and original wood stock for a Ruger AC556 in good to very good condition. Will consider buying a complete parts kit provided it has a minty stock included. Please no cracks like this one (wrong stock as well) from GB:
