    Limited run by Sig in March 2003 of 375 units. This was their Gun of the Month then. I am the original owner. P228 9mm with Germany marked on the slide. I am the original owner. Never fired or holstered. I have had this firearm since 2003. There are some handling marks. The finish is not what I would call rock hard. But advanced for hydro-dipped finishing in 2003.     I have not heard about that. All the LWRC’s I have owned have run. I know one thing. They stand behind their products. Attached a pic of the serial number. Based on when I purchased it I would say 2013 build date.
