	Replied to an WTS AD in the Parts Section for an M1A1 barrel. Got a cell text from the supposed buyer who pretended to be the seller. He/she wanted me to take a picture of the postal money order first and then send it to a different address (area code wrong), along with a tracking number. No zip code included. Another subtle reminder to watch your six and be careful not post your number on the board.

	I reached out a few weeks ago about a reference check for Ammons Arms. First and foremost. <br />
	John is a great guy. Very thorough in his explanations and polite. He sent me pics of an item I wanted to buy. It was in immaculate shape. We conducted business and I couldn’t be happier I did. He gets Five stars and two thumbs up. Whatever he wants to sell you, just buy it. You’ll be glad you did. <br />

	I purchased an MP5 parts kit off GB from this seller-here’s the description of the lot:
</p>

<p>
	”Factory HK MP5  submachine gun parts kit, full auto pack!”
</p>

<p>
	<a href="https://www.gunbroker.com/item/1098427209" rel="external nofollow">https://www.gunbroker.com/item/1098427209</a>
</p>

<p>
	Parts arrive and it’s not what they said it was-the receiver parts were HK MP5 but the bolt group was a semi auto MKE bolt group. I called them up and here was the response:
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	“Hello John, I receiver your message from our office manager. After final review of the listing and associated photographs it has been determined that the bolt carrier in the pictures is of the semi auto variant. The listing denotes a full auto trigger pack but not a carrier. the receiver remnant is factory German. The price reflected the kit as is, and would have been more, had this had a full auto carrier. I understand your frustration, yet given the transparency of the listing, and photographs associated, you received everything you purchased. If a full auto carrier is needed we have found them to be available for very little money produced by RCM online. sorry for the apparent misunderstanding, and in the future i would recommend asking questions prior to bidding if you are not entirely sure what is included. Please also respond through Gunbroker for any and all additional question going forward. Our manufacturing Business is not directly involved with online or consignment sales, so this would generate a much faster response. Thankyou, BeltFed Finatic”
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Talk about a fraud!!! You can barely make out that the carrier was a semi due tot he picture and why would someone even look that close if the listing says “factory HK MP5 submachine gun parts kit” well the parts kit isn’t HK, only part of it is. I’ve already left a negative feed back, as they won’t return a call now, or even pick up and the “much faster response via email” isn’t very fast either. It’s also funny that a quick FFL search shows that the manufacturing facility is a single family house with a detached building, not a big operation like it’s made out to sound like in the email. not impressed by this at all. <br />

</p>

<p>
	Giving people a heads up on this seller. <br />

	This isn't actually general firearms discussion but I was scammed by someone who appeared to be Bassethound (it wasn't him who did it) and got scammed trying to buy a PM12 parts kit. That being said, I've contacted admins and haven't heard anything. I also don't have full access to functions to put in a service request (I'm assuming it's like WG and you have to have a certain amount of interaction with the forum to get that. Any help in pushing this to an admin that will actually read it would be awesome. Thanks guys. Again watch out for this dude he's going by imhi right now, but he's probably switching it up.

	Hi Guys,
</p>

<p>
	I need some opinions. I have never had this happen before in all the hundred or so purchases off the gun boards. I purchased and paid for an item on Feb 24th. Its going on 23 days tomorrow and I have no purchased product on hand. I did get a text 3 days after payment stating it would go out two days later. Then on March 13th 2 weeks later I get a reply after I stated I am going to mention this on all the firearm boards. Then seller ask for more time. He says he doesnt want to ruin hi rep on here but has no posts. I know. I should have checked this out first. I purchase so much shit on the boards I got comfortable because everyone has been straight up legit. What would you guys do.
