RTG Parts Posted December 4, 2017 Report Share Posted December 4, 2017 Original Zinc/Aluminum single shot adapter for the M1 Garand. A must have for all Garand owners, collectors or Garand hunters. This pushes down and locks in place just like a normal clip. It's symmetrical so it doesn't matter which side is inserted facing 'up.' The top is tray-shaped to center the cartridge with the chamber for each shot. Cartridges must be manually loaded by retracting the bolt as the bolt is not held open after each shot. To remove the single shot device, you must actuate the clip-release on the Garand. USGI production.
