michael
This water-cooled browning is an expertly built on a Colt 1928 kit . Gun will come with 2 back plates. This will allow the owner to run the gun with a USGI bolt and spring set up or to run the gun with the original type 1928 captive spring. I have test fired the gun in both configurations. Gun also has correct zeiss optic and transit case for the optic. The optic is clear but the eyecup is dry and stiff. Will also include colt water condensing can. NO hose or ammo box included. References from the NFA community available. On a form 4 in Louisiana. Not with an FFL so will transfer out on a form 4. https://youtu.be/2pLrMNpi9Jwhttps://youtu.be/Nj5lIarJuIM $17,000 plus shipping, insurance and first tax out. Shipping will be expensive. This thing is heavy. Michael Smith 504-231-1765 Edited August 12, 2017 by michael More details and clarification. Price adjustment. pstidan
Original Argentine left side plate? Whose right side plate? Who did the build?
michael
Yes the original Argentine left side plate is present with Colt Engraving. It was a Erb side plate (I think his last remaining old stock BMG side plate, bought it around 2004)and Craig Jordan (interestingly also one of his last builds) did the build. The tripod came from Ohio Ordnance when they refurbished some 1928 tripods. Edited March 27, 2017 by michael
pstidan
Based on it's s/n, 687, the tripod appears to be an original Colt not an Argentine built one. It's hard to tell from the above pictures, but there appears to be a Tiffany Arms small crown stamp on the RSP directly above the rear cross pin. Tiffany Arms was Craig Jordan's company name. Is Charlie Erb's name and s/n engraved on the lower edge of the RSP?
michael
Yes on the engraving. Yes Craig's Mark is where you described. He was very good. You know more then me about the tripod! Thanks.
