RON IN PA Posted October 26, 2016 Report Share Posted October 26, 2016 Yellow boxes, ( 3 ½ boxes down loaded) for C96 Broomhandle Mauser (here’s how) I reload my stuff, (this ammo is for SMG’s, TOO HOT), so I pulled the bullets from 4 rds & weighted the powder 9 grs. So I think lets download , 2rds to 6 grs & 2rds to 7grs. If the load was too lite at 6 or 7 grs ,I could just drive the bullet back out the barrel. Sounded good. So, fired 1 rd 6 gr, bullet cleared the barrel, but didn’t eject successfully , Next fired a 7gr & bullet exited barrel & ejected brass perfectly. I repeated the other 2 rds, same outcome. I then reloaded 3 1/2 boxes (and so marked) at 7 gr. ea. Rd. I’ve fired 1/2 box at 7 gr. w/no problem. PICKUP ONLY. After a while I sold my C96. End of story.,, + shipping or PICKUP ! So only shoot the 3 ½ boxes marked C96 , the other 10 boxes for SMG ONLY.! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
