Image Watermarking

Recommended Posts

Some sellers have expressed concern about publishing their images here, due to concern about image collectors grabbing them, and using them elsewhere. We have had a custom bit of software done, that now allows you to go into the settings of your account, and have the server watermark your image with the Sturmgewehr.com logo (if you don't select your own), or with your own custom watermark - you must however enable this feature - if you don't enable it, your images will continue to be posted without watermark (which many wish to do as well).

I recommend that if you make your own custom watermark, that you do it as a transparent png or gif, and have it set to 10-30% visibility of your original image.

Here are the steps to setup the watermarking, as well as some sample outputs.

Click on your account in the upper right part of your browser

On the left, select Attachment Watermark

On the settings, turn the watermarking on, and optionally upload your own watermark.

Then click Save.
