Listing for an estate.  Group Industries M1918A2 serial # 00048.  Comes with an extra barrel, 1 magazine, bipod, and a few other items.  Below is the description from the last time it was sold.

This is an early production example of a desirable Browning Automatic Rifle (BAR) as manufactured by Group Industries of Louisville, Kentucky. This example of the M1918A2 is a very fine reproduction of the late-WW II Browning Automatic Rifle using a combination of new and military surplus components fitted to one of their newly manufactured all steel receivers. The original BAR was one of the first light squad automatic machine guns that proved to be very effective, seeing limited use at the end of WWI, however it served on all battlefields during WWII, through Korea and even in Vietnam by the ARVN troops. The top of the receiver is marked "GROUP IND./LOU KY./M1918A2/00048". It has the standard blade front and the folding ladder adjustable rear sight. The top of the barrel is marked with the drawing number "6508769". The left side of the receiver has a three-position selector for "Semi-Auto/Full-Auto/Safe". It has the late-WWII/Korean war style black composite/fiberglass buttstock with walnut forend. As noted it comes with a folding bipod and an original WWI all blued Winchester manufactured BAR barrel. The barrel is stamped on the front end with "W/Ordnance Bomb/8-18", with the top of the breech proofed with an "Eagle Head/P-38/Ordnance Bomb".

I am including as many pictures as i can of the rifle in its current state.  It has not been shot or used since its last sale as the buyer died before the transfer paperwork was completed. It is currently on a form 5 with the executor of the estate(son).  It was graded as :

Excellent with 95% plus of a slate gray parkerized finish overall with edge and high spot wear with some light brass marks on the right rear side of the ejection port from limited firing. The buttstock and handguard are both in excellent condition. A very nice looking new manufacture Browning BAR, ready for the range!

I have a ton of pictures of this rifle, but can only upload what is shown here due to file size.  If you would like any other pictures, let me know.   There are some light scratches on the bottom of the hand guard.  Tripod nut is also scratched and rubbed on the flats from taking on/off.  Everything else seems as described above.

SOLD!
