I believe that is a designe problem with the thin walls and that the part must be hardened of the heavy duty. I believe it is not possible to get this part running for many 1000 of rounds to do his job. Anyway, I could do some spare firing pin extension, they will work many 100 rounds and you will have a replacement. This new parts are from 16MnCrS5+Pb steel, are polished, hardened (outside about 56 HRC / inside about 46 HRC) and blued. 1. Pic: Part illustration. 2. Pic: 4SELL After market part hardened and blued (16MnCrS5+Pb steel). 3. Pic: Original part broken after a few 100 rounds. 4. Pic: After market part hardened and blued (16MnCrS5+Pb steel) after 300 rounds = no wear on the steel, only some wear on the blued. 5.
