Kaboom63021
May have a line on a pre-May 1928 Bridgeport Thompson. I’ve seen numerous M1’s but not a whole lot of 28’s. What’s a decent price for one of these in excellent condition? Yes, this is a pre-May dealer sample…

Frank Iannamico
A general rule of thumb... pre-May guns are usually 1/2 the value of a transferable example, exceptions would be on rare pre-Mays like AKs
Ryo
In my book it is 1/3 to 1/2 the cost of transferable ones.. I always lean toward the 1/3 but I'm cheap. Edited March 11, 2022 by Ryo
Got Uzi
I’d say C.C. is in the ballpark. The 50% of transferable prices is correct unless you are using gunbroker....then they bring damn near what a tranfserable will. If you have certain sellers list it, then a pre sample can bring almost the same as a transferable. The way this market is, it’s hard to keep up.
