Ken B in NH
Hi all, I found a couple of what appear to be Atwess simulators in the basement. Any idea if these are useful to anyone. I haven't ever seen them offered for sale. Not sure whether to offer them or to just soak them in a bottle of dilute nitric until they are deactivated. Any ideas would be useful. Pyrocoyote
I have many of these devices, be careful because they are shock sensitive and they warn to handle carefully because of this.
BPinFL
Pardon my ignorance, but what is an Atwess simulator? sounds interesting!
Ryo
It's a anti tank simulator. http://uxoinfo.com/blogcfc/client/includes/uxopages/Mulvaney_Details.cfm?Ord_Id=Y37
Ken B in NH
Thank you for the information - especially the shock sensitivity warning. I only have two - they were tossed in when I purchased some M-18 smokes many moons ago and I haven't figured out what to do with them. R.L.
Wasn't this the alleged device some genius put in the porta-potty at KC back in the 90's and blew it up? Next year's camping was banned because of this bit of mischief. Rumor had it one of the Subguns crowd was to blame, but I'm not sure anyone was ever identified as the culprit. Those were the fun days at K.C. R.L.
Ryo
That would seem like a weird thing to blow up in a PP.. it would just be easier to use black powder or something to do that.
