flgunguy
I just realized that my HK93 can be readily converted to host my sear pack if I just get a full auto bolt carrier. But instead of spending hundreds on that and possibly have bolt gap issues, I just want to get my current semi carrier converted to a f/a bolt. I will only shoot it a few times, just have a bunch of mags that are already loaded with old ammo so figured I'd have fun blasting it without major modification to the gun. This seems like the easiest way and the HK93 will still be 99% the same as before. Full auto bolt and switch out the ejector with my 9mm one in the current sear pack, that's it right?? Also, does the HK94 trigger housing fit the HK93? Edited July 21, 2021 by flgunguy
taylorwso
Nearly any smith can do it. Ive welded some with a mig but now I used a hardened filler rod. Really doesn't matter as the welded ones held up fine. If you want the best conversion use a piece of tool steel, mill slot replace/ tig in like TSC does. I would use a hammer spring as well if you dont have that. yes
eMGunslinger
You can just use any metal adder and fill it in with a dremel if so inclined.

MFP Autos
Plus one for Curtis over at S&H. He's done several bolts for me, does excellent work and is a pleasure to deal with. I'm about to have him do a paddle mag release on an early SP5K. Edited November 4, 2021 by MFP Autos
