There is a NIB listed on GB right now, by a dealer, but to me the price is crazy. Maybe not to you though. Take a look if interested.

I have an M16A1 that I'd sell.  I've been holding off until the transfer was complete as I purchased it from an estate in January.  It's showing in my eforms inventory so the form should be received any day now.  It will go out on a Form 1. $30K shipped. https://flic.kr/s/aHsmVyKTjo

I don't think the price is crazy......... I have a NIB m16a2 commando still in the original box sent right from Colt, been sitting since 1986. I wouldn't even consider selling it fom less than $55g. I mean, find another one like that.

I agree.  You never pay too much it's just paying late.  These guns are guaranteed to increase in value and are always a great investment especially the very desirable ones  and you can't get much more desirable than a Colt original M16. I'm probably stupid to sell it but if I don't sell I have no operating cash to continue buying and selling.
