Let me start out by saying this gun has been restored. It is a great shooter and it is a gorgeous example of a 1928 Savage, also let me note this Savage is registered as a Colt. Some early Savage Thompson's were registered as Colt's and I suspect that this is one of them. The parts are original to the gun the way I received them, this gun was never rusted or pitted. I just wanted to make a beautiful example of a 1928 Savage. It is an excellent example and will look great in your collection and shoots flawlessly. All internal parts are original to the gun. It is on a form 3 in my inventory and ready for e-file. $29,500 imageproxy.php?img=&key=898bd455c4915183imageproxy.php?img=&key=898bd455c4915183New owner pays shipping. Strange how this got registered as a Colt while it is marked N A C ? My late friend Gordon Herigstad said the N A C guns were sold and sometimes built from parts George Numrich acquired in his acquisition Auto Ordinance.
