ZQI Turk 308 in Beltfeds/MGs

Anyone have any experience running Turkish ZQI 308/7.62x51 147 grain ammo in their MG's? Seems cheap and cheerful.

Not sure if it will run reliably and feed properly.  May just be better off running better ammo, but worth a thread here to find out from those who are experienced.

I will be running it in 1919a4 and MG-42.

Thanks for the insight,

Mark

It runs great in my M60, and the M60 is a picky eater compared to a 1919. No problems of anykind. Very nice clean ammo.....

I'm always hesitatant to run ammo made in foreign countries unless it's proven milsurp from the 70's or 80's.... The below video of their facility gave me some confidence and everyone I know that runs it loves it....

Some of the SR-25 shooters are using it for their practice ammo.. Only thing they have to do is use the Tubb spring to make the gun function happily... You should be fine.

Runs great in my M60, FAL and Turkish MG3 ( I guess that's what it's made for though!)

Runs great in my M60. Unlike Tula/Monarch steel crap.

Does this stuff contain flash suppressants? Or is it "crowd pleaser" stuff?

^^^It doesnt have all the flash-bang that the Tula crap has....At least when its shot in my MM51. BIG difference in fireballs.
