WTK - Indentify Two Mags

Location: Parts and Accessories

6 posts in this topic

I was going through a box of mags I received from a friend and ran across two that I could not identify. Would anyone happen to know what these are for? I am comparing it to an Uzi mag so you can see the difference. Thank You.

I also agree, Grease Gun Mags.  not sure why the one has two holes drilled, never seen that before.

They aren't big enough to be Greaser mags so they are probably PAM-2 mags that have been adapted to a more common US subgun.  I have a half-dozen of them that have been adapted to the Colt AR-9mm by shaving off one side of the upper "sleeve" of steel to narrow them down.  These appear to have the sleeve ground down in the front so they might be adapted for the MAC M10/9.  The cut-out for the mag catch on the back would probably work with a MAC.

The ones I have are very reliable in the Colt, as they are single-feed and the round goes straight into the chamber, but they are about impossible to load without a loading tool.

I'd like to THANK you guys for responding. I was at a complete loss. Your responses have helped. Much appreciated.
