My Vickers in 45-70

Here’s another conversion I did this year.
This was  the brainchild of the late Mike Todd.
I had just gotten all the 11mm Gras parts to complete my Vickers Aircraft gun. He says “ya know...... if you could get that thing to run 45-70 it would be something.” If you haven’t seen it here it is. Sorry it’s a short clip. By the time I remembered to video it, the ammo was almost gone. Something useful to do with the old 11mm stuff.

Hi M1919A6,

Very nice!  Makes me want to give it a try.

The joke was Mike T. was that he was the only person I knew with a progressive reloading press set-up in 45-70.  I'm thinking you might be the second person I know loading that much 45-70 :)

Thanks for the great video,

Grasshopper

There might be some Gatling owners with progressive loaders in .45-70. With US Armament Corp making Gatlings, Nordenfelts, and hopefully Gardeners again, there's a lot of demand for .45 Government!
