Posted 18 Mar 2016 The hierarchy is generally based on commercial vs non-commercial members, and is multi-service, as we don't want to exclude a particular branch of service (my father was a Colonel in the Army, but that didn't keep him from getting saluted when we were on Marine or Air Force bases, or vice versa if he saw somebody of higher rank). Ranks like "Private" were excluded as it could be construed as "None of Your Business", and some of the other ranks were excluded as common knowledge might not give you an indication of where they fall. Finally it was a fun way to group everybody without resorting to Supporter, Super Supporter, Damn Awesome Supporter, and OMG You Did What Support. http://www.sturmgewehr.com/forums/index.php?/guidelines/ Shows what the ranks will come with. RON IN PA, We'll roll the rank options out soon, beginning with commercial users. The dots represent different thresholds for how many posts you've made.
