Colt / Armalite AR15 all correct select fire rifle with original Delft optic and       Colt/Armalite  mount. Every part on this  rifle  s as issued.  No repro parts. 
Retains the factory Original finish on the rifle, including the green  stock, hand guard, and pistol grip. hand guards have some finish wear in areas but no cracks or repairs as seen in the pics. The Colt/Armalite Finish rates close to 95%. The Internals are excellent and show very little wear. Charging handle is small type correct original. the factory barrel is the original non chrome late 1962 mfg. marked 1-12 as is correct for this serial range. the bore is excellent with strong lands and grooves. Chamber is excellent. The rifle comes with the correct Colt/Armalite  first issue type waffle magazine that is very nice.           This model 601 rifle comes with a rare and correct delft optic and Colt/Armalite mount. The optic is clear, adjusts correctly and easily and is the single  post inverted reticle. The scope  Retains a nice factory finish and rates above  98%. A near mint optic. The original mount is nicely marked and has never been messed with.  Also  included is an as-issued near new factory sling.  It would be hard to upgrade this rare rifle.

I will be interested to see what this goes for. I sold nearly the exact same set up about 3 years ago except I also had the original bipod and bayonet plus a much lower serial number.
