Mrlandmd
My 1928 Thompson occasionally fires one or two rounds after I let off the trigger on full auto. I assume a spring or so is getting weak in my trigger group. Any help as to which spring I replace or just replace all of them? Thanks, Mgdoc8307
Got Uzi
Check your sear and the sear notches in the bolt. My M1 did the exact same thing until I discovered the sear notch was worn and not locking up when I let off it.

gijive
If the sear and sear lever appear okay, replace the sear and sear lever springs. If that doesn't solve the problem replace the disconnector spring.
