This is a from-the-factory, select-fire M14E2/M15 machinegun built by Springfield Armory on their M1A transferable receiver. This gun is chambered in 7.62×51 NATO. It was manufactured and assembled by Springfield to M14E2 LMG specifications with a Springfield medium-heavy NM barrel and correct, original and rare unissued USGI E2/M15 flash-hider-mounted recoil reduction device. The correct, original USGI M2 bipod assembly is also in unissued condition. The Birchwood E2 USGI stock from Canadian Arsenals Limited is in perfect, unissued condition with a fold-down, rubberized front grip and original rear rubber recoil pad. This is exactly the same Canadian Birchwood straight-line pistol grip stock used on Springfield’s Vietnam-era M14E2 and later M15 LMGs.

This gun is a 99% accurate rendition of the USGI M14E2/M15 LMG. You cannot assemble a better condition, more accurate and faithful copy using a fully transferable M1A receiver. The medium-heavy NM barrel was specified by Springfield Armory to better handle its expected use as an LMG copy. It was Springfield’s most accurate barrel at the time so the gun is superbly accurate. It’s a stunningly beautiful, faithful copy of the early Vietnam-era weapon prized by collectors. You will not find a nicer example. Sale pending.
