FROEHLICH CO., INC. dated 1951 with U.S. marked on lower front of pouch. The body for these Split-Back original 30rd magazines is two pieces. It can be identified by two reinforcing grooves that run at odd angles in the bottom half of the magazine. It is also quickly identified by the two small slots or "splits" on the rear of the magazine, right where it bends. Original Split-Back magazines are currently selling for $35 to $60 each depending on condition. The RARE VINTAGE Olive Drab 4 Pocket Magazine Pouch was manufactured in New York City by S. FROEHLICH CO., INC. dated 1951 stamped on backside of top pouch flap and marked U.S. on lower front of pouch are currently selling for $50 to $75 each. Will sell as complete package $225 shipped.
