Posted 14 Jan 2020 (edited) This is a early M60e4 Heavy sustained fire commando barrel. I have seen maybe 3 of these total out there. This one has been in my personal collection for years. I have never fired it. The story behind this barrel. I was contacted by large NFA dealer to look at a few transferable M2hbs that needed repaired .. while at his shop I saw this barrel. I had seen a few before. I asked him about it.... he told me he got it directly from the Colt Museum..I ended up purchasing the barrel. From what I gathered ... Colt had teamed up with Saco in some of there last years and were developing the e4 before it was officially the e4 mod 0 .... for those designs they had a heavy long barrel and a heavy short commando barrel. The heavy profile of the barrel sustains my more abuse and longer firing cycles prior to failure compared to the regular thin profile barrels. Barrel is used. Perfect condition. Very rare. Price - $1,500 plus shipping Aaron - Mohnton, Pa Sales@BeltFeds.Com **PHOTOS BELOW FOR REFERENCE OF THE LONG HEAVY SUSTAINED FIRE BARREL. WHICH IS THE LONGER VERSION OF THIS BARREL.
