The World Posted December 30, 2019 Report Share Posted December 30, 2019 I’ve recently picked up a couple of magazines for a Thompson 1928 A22. While looking at the magazines, I noticed one magazine had a notch cut out in both the front and back while the other only had a notch cut out in the front. Is there a purpose for the second notch or would the magazine with only one notch cut out also function in my firearm? mike todd Posted January 3, 2020 Report Share Posted January 3, 2020 that single stack curved .22 rf magazine body was produced by the "BINGHAM" company and used as the basic magazine for countless other's I have seen 10rnd and everything in between 30 rnd. many variations used a sheet metal "clam shell" around the top.
