Xanthus Posted August 1, 2019 Report Share Posted August 1, 2019 (edited) I placed a WTB listing for a Sig 556 rear diopter sight and was contacted by "ABEG ABEG" at email AABEG60@GMAIL.COM who claimed to have one for sale. Usual scam characteristics... Illiterate English, sent pics that he stole elsewhere off the internet, etc. The name and address he provided for payment is Charles James bush Jnr 1 mechanic street Absecon ,NJ 08201 From a quick internet search, it appears he recently ripped off a guy on another board using an Egg Harbor, NJ address, so I suspect he may use other addresses around the Atlantic City, NJ vicinity as well. Just a "heads up" if you receive any contact from him offering to sell you something, but I think most of you guys are smart enough not to fall for this amateur-level scam. Had something similar occur on the S&W forum and did some digging on the address and it was clearly not a legit seller. That said, are you still looking for one? I might have one in my spares bin.
