  1. WTS: Bavarian Police Walther PP Rig With Numbers Matching Box & 2 Mags It hurts to let this one go but she needs a new home. This is an excellent condition Manurhin made Walther PP. It bears property markings indicating that it was issued to the Bavarian Land Police. There is some very light high edge wear but nothing detracting. The two magazines are in excellent condition as well with one featuring a finger rest and the other a standard flat base plate. Unlike many that are encountered, this example retains its numbers matching box which also bears police property markings. To round out the package a very nice police issue leather snap holster is included. It is getting very difficult to find police issued PPs in this condition, even more so with matching boxes. Grab this one while you can! Price: $900.00 **I just dug out 2 additional mags that will be included at the posted price as well** Payment: Paypal plus the fee or Venmo Shipping: Actual Cost Contact: PM or email at bevisblack15NOSPAM@yahoo.com (remove NOSPAM) Cross Posted

  7. BRAND NEW NEVER FIRED After approximately 2 million P38s were produced, Walther’s final evolution of the P38 was the P4. In the P4, Walther fixed all the idiosyncratic problems of the P38: the top cover taking flight, slide internals, fixed sight issues, manual safety either decocks too early or not at all, etc. Most noticeably the barrel was shortened by .59”, the locking block was made of a stronger material than previously and to its recess in the aluminum alloy frame was added a steel insert. The P4 is the way Walther should have designed the P38 originally, if the Wehrmacht had let them. Only 7400 P4 models were produced before all Walther P38 production ended. Virtually all went to the German Police - except for the last 451 which were imported by Interarms – designated “P38 IV” instead of P4 to differenciate as a US gun. The P38 IV pistols were shipped by Walther without a serial number on the frame (presumably German law was satisfied by the s/n on the slide). This was not discovered by Interarms until some while later, and the remaining guns were sent out to have the numbers engraved on the frame by panagraph machine. The number consequently looks very neat, and was cut through the anodizing, so the numbers are bright in the bottom. ** This P38 IV is one of the group that DID NOT get receiver or barrel lettering and the s/n is on the right side of the slide only. Receiver has some small proof marks but no lettering. Walther P38 production ended in 1982, the same year as this gun. The last serial number was 607,419. This gun is 607,180. 10. This is a German made Walther PPK .380, made in 1967, so it was imported before the GCA of 1968 banned them due to size. This one has a perfect bore and action but does have some minor finish wear on the left side, probably from laying in a drawer. It's not pitted and actually looks pretty good. It comes with 3 Walther magazines, one still new in wrap. It is not import marked. It does have an original correct vintage box, although it is not numbered to the pistol. These boxes are rare. $995. I accept checks (must clear), money orders, cashiers checks, or you can wire the money to my USAA account. Must ship to FFL.
