  4. WTS: French SACM 1935A (Nazi Marked) Price: $1400 Payment: Paypal gift / friends & family or Venmo Shipping: Actual Cost Contact: PM or email at bevisblack15NOSPAM@yahoo.com (remove NOSPAM) **Receiving FFL must accept from an individual** **Additional photos available upon request** Cross Posted French 1935A: This SACM model 1935A is one of the group produced after Germany took control of production. It is appropriately marked with the Eagle / 251 on the left side of the frame. These typically show significant wear due to the easily worn finish. This one is the exception to that showing an easy 95% of finish remaining. The bore is similarly great as are the black bakelite grips. This would be a very difficult example to upgrade.
  5. WTS: Original WW2 British Paratrooper Dennison Smock Price: $1100 Payment: Paypal gift / friends & family or Venmo Shipping: Actual Cost Contact: PM or email at bevisblack15NOSPAM@yahoo.com (remove NOSPAM) Cross Posted I have a single, very scarce, WW2 British paratrooper Dennison Smock available for sale. This example is in excellent condition and does show evidence of being worn in the field. The internal label has faded / washed out to the point of being unreadable. Size wise it appears to be either a 1 or a 2, approximately a US medium. This example has all of the proper brass buttons and the beaver tail is completely intact. The zipper is in good condition and operates well. The internal war department ink stamp is present but is extremely light. It appears to be a “Z” code indicating 1945 production. These smocks were heavily used by the British paratroops as well as their special operation counterparts. Finding them in any condition, let alone good shape, is very rare these days. Add this one to your collection while you can!
  6. WTS: 2 US M8 Flare Pistols Price(s): As Noted Payment: Paypal gift / friends & family or Venmo Shipping: Actual Cost Contact: PM or email at bevisblack15NOSPAM@yahoo.com (remove NOSPAM) Cross Posted I have two one very nice US M8 37mm flare pistols available for sale. Each of them are in very nice condition with only light handling wear. #1 shows some browning to the finish on the barrel but is otherwise very attractive. #2 is one of the nicest that I have seen and includes the original leather scabbard. The grips on each are in great shape and are crack / chip free. #1: Price: $300
  7. WTS: Original WW2 German ZF4, ZF K 43, and ZF41 Scopes (Matching Can!!) I have several very nice WW2 German optics available for sale. Please refer to the detailed descriptions below. I have extensive detailed photos of each available, please contact me if interested in additional images. Contact me as detailed below with any questions or orders. Price: As noted Payment: Paypal plus the fee or Venmo Shipping: Actual Cost Contact: PM or email at bevisblack15NOSPAM@yahoo.com (remove NOSPAM) Cross Posted Optics: ZF41 PACKAGE WITH MOUNT, CAN, AND SHADES This ZF41 is in great cosmetic shape and includes both front and rear eye shades. It is marked CAG indicating production by Swarovski Optik of Austria. The body of the scope is marked with a “+” showing minor remnants of blue paint indicating lubrication for cold weather climates. Both lenses are in great shape but the optics are very dark. The tube does however transmit light. A minor rehab / cleaning should get it back to like new operational condition. Condition wise the scope is fantastic and would easily rate at 95% +. Fore and rear sun / rain shades are included. The mount is a duv marked example and is in similarly fantastic condition. It is serial numbered and matches the storage can. The scope can is in very nice condition and is in Afrika Corps tan as shown in the photos. It is missing it’s original buckle but I do have a spare that will be included if I can locate it. All together a very nice and rather scarce grouping. Price: $1200 ZF K 43 With Rubber Eye Cup This optic is a late war example as produced by Opticotechna GmbH, Prerau (Czechoslovakia), and marked “dow”. The body bears SN 47052 and also features a blue triangle indicating lubrication for use in cold weather climates. The optics are crystal clear with very strong cross hairs. Opticotechna scopes were provided to both BLM and Walther for use on their G/K43 rifles. These ZF K 43 marked optics are scarce and represent the tail end of war time production at dow (after December of ’44). Price: $900 ZF 4 This optic, like the other, was made by Opticotechna GmbH, Prerau (Czechoslovakia), and is appropriately marked “dow”. This unit bears the same blue cold weather triangle and is serial numbered 25868. A rubber eye cup is included but it features a tear along one side. The lenses are in perfect shape and the optics are nice and clear with strong cross hairs. This would be a perfect addition to either a BLM or Walther production G/K43 as dow optics were provided to each manufacturer. Price: $800

  9. Excellent condition Bren MK2 Complete kit with Extras! I was planning to keep this for a posty build but plans have changed so it's up for grabs. This is a 1943 Inglis complete kit with 2 receivers. Original receiver is demilled through the barrel mounting and lockup area. Thus I purchased a second premium receiver center section that is not cut through the locking area or barrel mounting area. Between the two demilled receivers you have overlapping sections for a beautiful re-weld by a licensed manufacturer. All NFA Rules apply. I have more photos available upon request. As far a shipping goes this will be heavy with all the extras and I'm willing to ship it but will be shipped in several packages driving up the shipping cost. Thus please message me if you would like a shipping quote. Also willing to meet anyone within a reasonable distance of Western PA. Asking $1850.00 Included Items: -25 Mags and 2 full mag chests -complete 1943 Inglis Parts Kit (torch kit demill) -2 NOS (appear unfired) barrels -Premium cut receiver (not cut in locking area or barrel mounting area -Spare NOS MK2 trigger frame included also
  10. WTS: P35 Radom & Hi Power Holsters - WW2 German Production 1940 Radom Holster: This is the most spectacular example of a wartime Radom holster that Ive ever had the pleasure of having in my collection. Its an early 1940 dated example with crisp WaA169 stamps and a CNY makers mark. The stitching is tight and leather is a stunning reddish brown in amazing shape. Structurally it is supple and retains its shape almost perfectly. This is a virtually un upgradeable example and would be an ideal mate to an early war gun. Contact as noted below with any questions. Price: $450.00 OBO 1943 Hi Power Holster: This is an extremely clean example of a mid war Hi Power holster. The condition is very fine but it does exhibit medium wear and marks throughout. The medium brown leather is supple and the closure strap is solid. It bears a slightly faded waffenamt along with a CGN makers mark and 43 year marking. All together this a very nice and intact example of a mid war holster, most of which saw hard use and few of which survived. Price: $250.00 Shipping: Actual Price Payment: Paypal plus the fee or Venmo Contact: Email - PM or email at bevisblack15@NOSPAMyahoo.com (remove “NOSPAM”)
  11. WTS: 3 Pre War LP34 German Flare Pistols - Fantastic Condition I have 3 extremely nice pre war German LP34 flare pistols available for sale. These all exhibit early features including wide spur hammers, high quality finishes, and the early wider style bakelite grips. All fire standard 26.5mm flares which are available from a variety of online vendors. Descriptions, photos, and terms are as outlined below. Contact me with any questions. Price: $350 each Shipping: Actual Price Payment: Paypal plus the fee Contact: Email - PM or email at bevisblack15@NOSPAMyahoo.com (remove “NOSPAM”) 1936 Walther This is a stunning example of an early Walther LP. The finish is in great shape with some high edge wear as well as some loss towards the muzzle as shown in the photos. Serial numbers on both the frame and barrel match and the grips are in excellent condition. The frame and barrel both bear Eagle / 359 markings along with commercial proofs. All in all a very nice example of an uncommon, early LP34. 1937 Walther This is another beautiful example of a pre war Walther LP34. It shows slightly more wear than the 1936 example but has an attractive bronze / golden hued finish. The grips are in great shape with some light wear at the bottom of the left panel. This example bears matching serial numbers on both the barrel and frame along with Eagle / 359 and commercial markings. 1938 Erma-Erfurt Another LP34 in phenomenal condition. Erma LPs from the pre war period are very difficult to find in this condition and this one is about as nice as you could ask for. There is some high edge wear along with some light thinning towards the muzzle but in all this example is very attractive. The serial numbers on both the frame and barrel match and the grips are a hair short of perfect. This example bears no commercial proofs but does exhibit Eagle / 77 markings on the barrel and frame.

The M1941 competed unsuccessfully with the U.S. M1 Rifle. [edit] Senator Morris Sheppard, left, Chairman of the Senate Military Affairs Committee, Maj. Gen. George A. Lynch, U.S. Chief of Infantry, and Senator A.B. Chandler of Kentucky, inspect the M1941 semi-automatic rifle which competed to replace the M1 gas-operated rifle as the Army's standard shoulder weapon. The M1941 rifle used the energy from recoil to cycle the rifle. As the bullet and propellant gases move down the barrel, they impart force on the bolt head which is locked to the barrel. The barrel, together with the bolt, moves a short distance rearward until the bullet leaves the barrel and pressure in the bore drops to safe levels. The barrel then stops against a shoulder allowing the bolt carrier to continue rearward under the momentum imparted by the initial recoil stage. The rotating bolt, with eight locking lugs, would then unlock from the chamber as cam arrangement rotates and unlocks the bolt to continue the operating cycle. The Johnson rifle utilized a two-piece stock and a unique 10-round rotary magazine, designed to use the same 5-round stripper clips already in use by the M1903 Rifle. This system had some advantages in comparison to the M1 Garand rifle, such as a greater magazine capacity combined with the ability to recharge the magazine with ammunition (using 5-round clips or individually) at any time, even with the bolt closed on a chambered round. Finally; that the Johnson rifle did not—unlike the M1 Rifle—eject an en bloc clip upon firing the last round in the magazine, was considered an advantage by some soldiers. A widely-held belief among US soldiers in 1952, 27% of soldiers held the opinion that the M1 Garand's distinctive clip ejection sound, the well-known "M1 Ping", presented a danger when fighting an enemy force, as the sound purportedly signaled to the enemy that the solder's M1 Rifle was empty and they could no longer fire in defense. Unfortunately, despite the several advantages the Johnson Rifle design had over the M1 Garand rifle, the existing disadvantages were too great to change US rifle production from the M1 Garand. The Johnson's short recoil reciprocating barrel mechanism resulted in excessive vertical shot dispersion that was never fully cured during its production life, and was prone to malfunction when a bayonet was attached to the reciprocating barrel (short recoil weapons require specific barrel weights to cycle correctly). Additionally, the complex movements of the barrel required for proper operation would be subject to unacceptable stress upon a bayonet thrust into a target. The Johnson also employed a number of small parts that were easily lost during field stripping. Partially because of lack of development, the M1941 was less rugged and reliable than the M1, though this was a matter of personal preference and was not universally opined among those that had used both weapons in combat. As was Johnson's practice, he gave all of his weapons a "pet" nickname. Johnson christened his semi-automatic rifle Betsy and the Light Machine Gun Emma. Melvin Johnson continued to develop small arms. He worked with ArmaLite and Colt's Manufacturing Company as an advocate for the AR-15. The AR-15 used a similar bolt design to the M1941 Johnson. Soldiers of the Royal Netherlands East Indies Army in July 1945. The soldier on the right carries a Johnson rifle.Melvin Johnson campaigned heavily for the adoption of the Johnson rifle by the U.S. Army and other service branches. However, after limited testing, the U.S. Army rejected Johnson's rifle in favor of the M1 Garand rifle developed by Springfield Armory. Despite repeated requests by the Marine Corps to adopt the rifle, the Johnson rifle lacked the support of US Army Ordnance, which had already invested considerable sums in the development of the M1 Garand and its revised gas operating system, then just going into full production. Johnson was successful in selling small quantities of the M1941 Johnson Light Machine Gun to the U.S. armed forces, and this weapon was later used by both Paramarines and the Army's First Special Service Force. Post WW2 years were not kind to the Johnson organisation. The entity filed for bankruptcy and was liquidated in early 1949. The Johnson rifle was also used in the 1961 Bay of Pigs invasion by the anti-Castro Brigade 2506. Because it was produced in relatively small quantities the Johnson rifle has become a highly sought-after collectible by World War II collectors looking to complete their collections.
