  3. Life is requiring some changes. For sale is a virgin, unfired semi-auto Vickers built by Midwest. I've had it a couple of years now and been just looking at it, never fired. No scratches, etc. Ships in it's original, great shape transit chest (interior is good, no busted blocks), tripod included in this sale and 16 cloth original Vickers belts. Everything is heavy, FTF is awesome will drive a couple hrs to make that happen. If it ships, honestly would prefer LTL I think and I'll build a crate for it. Vickers kits are now about $4K, tripods $2K+, belts $40+ each, build cost $2.5K plus the wait. Selling at $10,500 (plus shipping if applicable). Major bank cashier's check, cash during FTF or USPS MO only. Will sit here for a few days to a week then off to GB or RIA. Would rather sell here and give a kick-back to the site.

  8. A beautiful piece of history. Developed and introduced in 1917, the 30-06 cal Browning Automatic Rifle is regarded as one of the best shoulder-fired automatic weapons of World War I. By original conception, the BAR was to be used by actively maneuvering infantry units, allowing them to provide their own suppressing fire while advancing across no-man's-land and still be capable of aimed single shots. American infantry doctrine did not embrace the "marching fire" concept, instead focusing on the "squad automatic" concept, favoring man-portable weapons firing from fixed positions in support of defense and maneuver, with later variants of the BAR, the 1918A1 and A2, adjusted to better accommodate this style of combat. A relative late-comer for World War I, the BAR made a good impression on users and allies. Retained in government arsenals following the war, the BAR remained a gold standard of small arms firepower, while also gaining infamy for it's desirability to criminals; famous outlaws Clyde Barrow and Bonnie Parker were among those who raided government stocks for the BAR and used them to great effect in altercations with the police. On entering World War II, the BAR was America's prime light machine gun, and BAR gunners were a key source of firepower for Army and Marine units. While eventually retired in favor of weapons designed explicitly for the Squad Automatic rifle, the BAR served with dignity for many decades, seeing U.S. use as late as the Korean War. Blade front and folding ladder rear sights, with a plain tubular flash hider threaded to the muzzle, "18" dated barrel, and "eagle head" and "flaming bomb" proofs on some components. The top of the receiver bears the 5-line Winchester nomenclature, with the early "F A S" pattern (semi/full/safe) selector mechanism with the spring loaded catch to keep the operator from accidentally putting the rifle on "SAFE" when switching to full-auto operation. Fitted with a deeply checkered forearm and a smooth pistol grip stock. Included with the lot are 3 magazines, original 1918 cupped ammo belt, BAR oiler and magazine loader. Very good condition. The rifle has been completely reworked by Stan Andrewski and functions flawlessly. The forearm bears a hairline crack and a safe ding on its right side. The stock is in excellent shape without any repairs. Mechanically excellent condition with original internal components bearing a “W” proof mark as shown in the attached photos. This item is restricted as a National Firearms Act (NFA) and is fully transferable. It is also classified as a "Curios or Relic" (C&R) as defined in 27 CFR, 478.11. Price; $49,500 plus shipping and insurance. First buyer to commit in writing, either by email or text, will have priority to purchase. Full purchase price due with order. The only trade considered is a transferable H&K MP5K-PDW. All NFA rules apply. Questions will be answered in writing via email or text. My email is “BAR at eley.us”. Text number is 614-537-3539.

  11. Item is a Rare, Bushmaster BAR-10 rifle chambered in .308 Win. This design has some very unique features and was ahead of its time with ambidextrous bolt release and some other clever design details. Perhaps most interesting is the use of economical and plentiful, steel FN-FAL magazines! Rifle is in excellent condition and comes with factory original hard case, manual and (2) FN-FAL magazines Price is $1,995 and is In Stock and Ready to Ship! Must ship to FFL. Interested parties please email sales@aresdefense.com Thank you. Geoffrey Herring
  12. Looking to buy an Ohio Ordnance Works 1918A3 Semi-Auto BAR SLR. I'm mainly interested in one of the models with a wood stock over the Bakelite, but I'm still interested in both. Let me know if you've got one or know someone who's got one they'd be willing to part with. Thanks!
  13. This is a pre-may 86 dealer sample keeper. This gun is in excellent original condition, no rebuild marks in original finish with the original 10-43 barrel. The bore is beautiful, and the throat gauges almost as new in comparison to a new OOW barrel. Original BARs like this don't show up often, if you're looking this is a great example. My SOT is current so this will efile on a form 3. $11k delivered. steve at adcofirearms com
  14. Looking for demilled receivers, complete set or just pieces; also Philadelphia Ordnance 80% Receiver. Direct email only, please: nick.gorgenNOSPAM@gmail.com Remove NOSPAM from email
  15. This is the most reliable rifle I've ever owned. I got it from Kent Lomont many years ago and would take it out once every couple of years. It never fails to cycle and go bang. Nice New England Arms BAR with almost no wear on the operating parts, just marks on the take downs from me cleaning it, and rack wear from being banged around in the armory. One notable exception is the bullet hole through the foot of the bi-pod. Bet that hurt! This one is a keeper for when you give up your licenses.Call two zero eight three75-1800 or email.

  18. Looking to buy an original Marlin Rockwell 1918 BAR barrel.
  19. Very rare to find WWI Colt BAR M1918 extractor. 9.9 times out of 10 these extractors are WWII or post war NES or Royal Typewriter. This one is an original Colt with the C and arrow. It's in excellent like new condition. Correct your Colt BAR up with this one. It's not cheap but you won't find another one anytime soon. Well worth it for your original Colt BAR. $150 shipped.
  20. I have an original WWI Model M1918 BAR barrel. It's very rare to find an M1918 barrel, original from WWI period but even more rare to find one in this condition! Throat measures "0" and Muzzle erosion ".07" which is basically "0" but I round it to 1. How this barrel survived all these years without being shot out is a small miracle. This particular barrel is marked with an "M" which stands for Marlin. It's dated "7 18" which stands for July of 1918. It has the flaming bomb ordnance stamp between the M and date and again on the outside near the throat. Even more intriguing is the fact that this barrel came off a lend lease BAR to England. Markings of .30/062-494" BNP with crown Tons per square is marked near the throat on the outside of the barrel. This barrel is chambered for the original caliber of of the BAR which is 30-06. There are some tool marks where the barrel was installed or removed (most likely removed) at an arsenal somewhere (see last pic). I've seen these tool marks before on many BAR barrels. It's indicative of using a vice that was used to take the barrel off. It's not a huge gash but there are marks indicating such. Now for the best part. The bore is mirror finish. No erosion, cloudiness or frost. Strong lands and grooves which backs up the measurements of TE 0 and ME 1. I place this barrel at a 9 out of 10 ready for your original M1918 Marlin BAR. They aren't making these any more and finding one in this condition is rare as hen's teeth so buy it now before someone else does. I have a "best offer" button but don't insult with low ball offers as this is going to move close if not at the asking price. I'm very familiar with what BAR parts are commanding. Recently at Knob creek I spotted an original Marlin parts kit that the owner wanted $4,000 for. Get it now before it's too late. After all, your registered gun deserves it and it's worth it! Transferable BAR's are now worth north of $30,000! $950 shipped to anywhere in cont. US. Will accept, checks, money order, etc. 3% more for paypal or credit cards. I have many BAR parts large and small so email me what you need and I can let you know if I have it and how much.
