This is the 2nd 16" SOCOM profile, C MP marked, heavy barrel I've purchased in the last 30 days. This is a real oddity, the barrel is 16" overall length & does not have the M203 flats milled on the sides of the barrel. I was told it was 1 of 300 special production run for Specialized Armament. This barrel has been fired 300 rounds and sadly the previous owner Bubba'd the FSB cutdown and hit the barrel with the grinder. The damage was concealed with black paint, the damage will not affect the performance but should ne re-parked or coated. This would be a great candidate for a dimpled barrel & gas block..
