  1. If you can find any, the Portuguese FNM is excellent.
  2. When I cut down my 870 to 14", I threaded the barrel for tubes and use a rifled tube for slugs,(Remington 1oz). Incredibly accurate with the factory iron sights.
  3. GB has been very good to me. No real problems, lots of sales, (in excess of 1200). Their sales fees these days are right at 5%. As I primarily sell consignments, it works well for what I do. In the end, businesses are there to make money. There is always the 1 or 2% of your customers that will never be happy no matter what you do.
  4. I know there is a scam website, Tennessee-guns, but it appears Tennessee Guns ,(without the dash) is legit. Google maps shows a gunshop at their listed address. Has anyone done business with them? They are listing a pre-sample on their website that I am interested in. Thanks in advance!
  5. From an out of business SOT to our Corporate FFL/SOT. Responsible individual, prints, photos, Corp documentation. For a pre-sample.
  6. Did a paper Form 4 recently. Received by ATF 22 Jan. Approved and mailed back 11 March. 49 days. The fastest paper Form 4 I've ever gotten. Light speed compared to the past.
  7. Yep. She's only got one feedback ever on GB, and a fairly recent one at that. 10 not very good photos of a 20k+ machine gun. Poorly worded description,(ESL). I'm thinking "scammer". Keep your money in your bank account. The phrase "too good to be true" comes to mind.
  8. If it is wrapped in green wrap with a lot of grease, it's probably a WW2 non-lined barrel.
  9. Please remember, the reason that "prices are high" is because the banking cartels (also known as "the federal reserve")have driven the value of the dollar so low. It just takes a much bigger stack of dollars to buy the same gun that you bought years ago. BECAUSE THE DOLLAR IS WORTH 10% OF WHAT IT USED TO BE.
  10. I do a proofread after they fill out the form. If my customer makes an error, I have them fill out a new form. The forms need to be correct, and legible.
  11. I don't think that's enough green hanging out of the gun.....Nice start though.
  12. No electronic payments or credit cards. Personal checks with a 7 day hold, or Postal Mo's. Thanks!
  13. Not entirely true. An FFL holder must comply with the laws of the state that he is licensed in, plus the laws of the buyers home state. Sometimes that is not possible. Such as, I'm in Alaska, where we don't have any state restrictions for sales, but if my buyer is from a state that runs their own background checks, or has a state mandated waiting period, or some other convoluted state hoo-hah, then it's not possible for me to do that. The buyer is "out of luck" in that case, regardless if it is a long gun. Military service members that are PCS to the state are viewed as defacto residents and get a pass, regardless of their home state.
  14. What he said. Plus the buyer will want to know how the throat and muzzle gauge. I got my first one from DCM for 121.96 shipped. Bought 5 more over the years. Still have all of them.
  15. Looks like the starter tab is at the wrong end of the belt, or upside down.
  16. I have available 4 chopped M-14 rear sections. 2 Winchester, 1 H&R, 1 TRW. 48.00 each shipped OR 150.00 for all 4 shipped. First I'll take it with a PM wins. Thanks!
  17. Looks like an unfinished casting for an AR-15/M-16.
  18. WTS: German WW2 motorcycle sidecar machine gun mount. Appears complete, except for yoke, which is the same as the AA tripod. Elevation mechanism works smoothly. Windage lock lever works, but the slide will have to be worked loose. Surface rust overall, so could use a bead blast and blue. "byf 42" marked, so Mauser made. Rarely seen in any condition. A little elbow grease and your BMW or Zundapp will be complete! Contact me through PM via the Forum. Thanks!
