  1. Well for any of you people who might be keeping up with this post got some news todsy. I've managed to locate a source who will sell me the sheath only but not the knife. It looks like I'm gonna be happy with that. I'll rephrase that last sentence. It looks like I'm going to just be happy with the shealth only. Well it's better than nothing at all, seeing as how I only want this item just to add to my collection. It isn't for nefarious reasons. Obviously.
  2. I'll do that when it's finished I'll post pics and my review as well. Haven't yet began I'm trying to finish up some other project first this project is NOT related to weapons. I'm rebuilding one of my motorcycles that blew the motor.
  3. So what ended up happening to the knife, do you still have it? What exactly was the source of getting one in the first place and how much did it cost you ? I still want one.
  4. Detroit tactical firearms, you by chance got a Web address for radon?
  5. Oh bpinflorida, the first one is a hobbies type of I guess you could call it a toy. A fun toy at that. I'm still undecided about whether or not I'm going to buy one. Basically for the reason I asked already. Where could I play with it at? I wouldn't just take it out to the open desert or the I'm the mountains eithrt. Too high of risk of accidently starting a wildfire. So where else is there to go to use it?
  6. Who told those politicians that guns can be LEGALLY purchased from the web? And I have to ask, how would a background check have stopped the shooting in Florida? That guy passed one when he bought his 2 guns.
  7. Loan wolf forget about me asking who he is. I just found his Website.
  8. Your correct there regarding the Uzi. I have a preban full sized uzi original model A configuration. I purchased it from the original owner back in 1989. He even gave me his original receipt from when he bought it back I think 1985. And yes it's semi-auto version. He gave me a big box full of spare parts and it also contained a short 10 inch barrel. I was worried about getting caught and being charged with an unregistered AOW so I ended up taking the barrel with me to a gun show and I managed to sell it there. I still have the UZI though and I've never had to use any of the spare parts.
  9. Okay I'll take that under advisement. Answer me one other thing, who exactly is that person that you had suggested? Is he an importer of weapons or something?
  10. Thanks CIMG. I'm just still learning about making my own guns it's gonna be a learning curve for me.
  11. Yea I've looked at that one too which happens to be more expensive. Also requires more maintainable and Accessories as well as spare parts cost more than the other flamethrower I mentioned does. I'm not 100% sure I'm going to buy one or not I'm still thinking about it. It seems fun to have and play with either of these particular models look like a blast. Then I wonder if I had one where could I play with it? You can't just take it to the open desert or mountains as the risk of starting a wild fire is too high. So where can you use it?
  12. And as soon as someone uses it for doing something stupid they will probably end up banned sooner or later.
  13. Hey to all of you who have built your own guns using parts kits I need your expertise on something. Okay, I am about to begin my first Gun build. I've recently purchased a complete parts kit forassembling a Glock 19 pistol including an 80% receiver. So I'm wondering how difficult is this going to be? Did I pick a good gun to make or did I choose a difficult build? One correction the kit is for a Glock 17 not 19. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
  14. Hey what happened to thst big long message you posted this morning? Oops, there it just opened up.
  15. I just found this website earlier it's cool. There's a company that is producing a version of the hand held flamethrower. And it doesn't require pressurized tanks to operate, and it's legal too. There are no Federal laws governingflamethrowers they aren't even considered to be a weapon by the BATF. There are however a couple of states thst have laws against them. Anyway if any of you have any interest at all in flamethrowers you should check out this website www.xm42.com. take a look! You know you want to...
  16. That knife you mentioned that fired bullets are you referring to the GRAD 22 KNIFE? Global research and development (the manufacturer) went out of business at the end of the nineties. Those knives contained a 5 shot cylinder inside of the handle, a hidden trigger couldbe popped out on the underside of the handle as well. The barrel was just on top of the blade and since it is only 22lr it small enough not to be immediately noticed. Those knives can be found on gunbroker and guns America from time to time. But the last one I saw sold for almost 4 gran. They were only eight hundred dollars when they were new. Anyway I know Remington makes a cane gun. Penguns are made by everybody.
  17. Yea I paid thirteen hundred dollars for a semi-auto version of the full sized uzi. But it was imported by Action Arms back in the eighties, original IMI manufacturered. The guy who sold it to me was the original owner and he even gave me his original receipt for it, and he threw in a really nice case and a big box full of spare parts. Including the short 10 inch barrel which I discovered is an NFA item when installed or possessed with the carbine. I didn't want to get caught with an illegal short barreled rifle so I subsequently sold the short barrel at a gun show. Still have the uzi though.
  18. I'm curious why do the mini UZI'S sell for more than the full size one? I own a semi-auto full size uzi when I bought it back in 1998 it ran me $1300.00 came with a big box of spare parts. But with full auto ones why is the little uzi Worth more than the grown up uzi?
  19. Hey guys, what I'd like to know is if anybody knows of any companies that produce AOW type weapons. Now I'm not referring to the short shotguns that have that classification. I'm looking for gadget guns such as penguns, briefcase guns, knife pistol combinations, whatever else that might be out there. I haven't been able to even find any magazines or other sources for these AOW's. Anybody here able to steer me in the right direction? Oh and yes I know of SAR magazine but there's never gadget guns.
  20. Craigslist do you have any dragunov parts kit ls or clones thereof kits?
  21. Poiish kits? You really recommending that I use a gun parts kit made in Poland??? They have such strict gun laws over there I doubt they really are very knowledgeable on firearms designs. On another subject real quick. There is a company in Poland that is currently producing a certain version of the ballistic knife. Remember those? I had two of the ballistic knives made by Florida Knife Works back in 1984. They lasted for a few years then the main Springs on both knives happened to break one day. I ended up selling the remaining knife components to a friend back in the early 1990's. Anyway the reason I bring this up is Do you know the name or Web site of the company in poland? I'd just like to see what design they're using..
  22. Khru27Gg that was a classic response there I got a laugh from it.
  23. You could also try this site too- http://www.gunsamerica.com
  24. Okay Lewissrms, I agree with you there. So which kits do you recommend?
