  1. Something I thought we'd never see! Pindad Indonesia announced at SHOT that they're going to import their SS1, a fully licensed FNC copy, into the US later this year. They're full rifles but stock less and sold as a pistol to comply with 922r. We're going to see new BCGs and bolts in our present market where the semi FN guns go for $7000.00 Very exciting news. No articles yet but some YouTube videos are circulating, including Ian from Forgotten Weapons. https://youtu.be/9glcZAHdEnA?si=XdwXmfMcXCJJEC2H
  2. I have done almost everything when I've bought. I've paid with bank wire, personal checks, twenty-five separate USPS money orders in one envelope, had cards ran, and even PayPal on an FNC before. I can understand the trepidation with Zelle as the buyer may think you're the one who might scam them. Once sent nothing can be done.
  3. In terms of modularity and parts availability, the M16 can't be beat. The two-piece receiver also really fits your lack of wear on the serialized part requirement. There have been a few registered receivers come through for 26k-ish recently. Offers can always be made.
  4. Gents, I'm sorry to report that a fellow Sturm member passed in his sleep last night. Vengarr was a great member and supporter of the NFA community. He will be missed.
  5. +/- a round I wouldn't be too concerned about. You may have to file the lug on the mag a little to get it to fit in the groove on the Lage, though.
  6. Many (most?) people dont know about it, even with the prominent bulge in the receiver. You can even do an "HK slap" to release it by palming it back in, but I don't recommend that.
  7. FTF industries has them. They also do Mac 10/9mm magazines which have worked decently well for me. Just have to get the angle of the feed ramp to work well enough for your needs.
  8. It will fit and work on the .45 lower, the issue I've had trouble with is the magazine adapter for the 9mm magazines in the magwell. It has a feed ramp incorporated into it and requires fitting/shaping.
  9. Paul at Cryostructure is awesome. I was curious about this as I recently bought some of his "broken" 80 percent receivers to cut the magwell fence off of, and it was clearly a prototype for this.
  10. In seven days I will have an e-form 4 hit the year mark. Certified March 17, 2022. Just certified another a few weeks ago - here's to hoping I see it before New Year's.
  11. Good afternoon, Gents. I've just come back from my SOT, filled out my Form 4 information on my latest purchase. I've been on the fence what I wanted next. I had my eye on a few things, and put in a WTB post a few months back. Tom O. hit me up with an outstanding offer on a mint SAR48 in the standard FAL 50.00 style, and gave me a call on the phone to discuss more. A few photos and videos later, we struck a deal. He's been good to update me every single time anything in the transaction occuree (funds received, Form 3 pending/approved, tracking), and responds to text messages almost immediately Tom is overall is a great guy who represents his products 100%, and his listings are a little more competitive than other identical offerings, I've seen. Thanks Tom!
  12. Thanks Frank, but @Tom O made a great offer on a SAR48 that I accepted. I'll be back for another toy before too long, though! @Buddy H, we may close this WTB. Thank you!
  13. Good evening, Gents. Checking the market for availability and pricing on transferable FALs (SAR48) or MG34s. Missed an MG34 by a few hours yesterday on one of the big dealer's sites, and an Israeli HB SAR48 a couple weeks ago. Thank you!
  14. Buy with confidence - I purchased another of Dave's @Double Tap Firearms Mac 10/Lage packages a year or two ago. Perfect condition and as described in every way. Also had the best customer service and communications I've ever received in the NFA community! @jl1577There was an adjustment screw/s either in the rear of the bolt or the Lage upper itself that expands or contracts to allow for more play or tighten up the uppers. I don't remember if it is on the upper itself or part of the bolt as I haven't got one in front of me - but I've had to use it to fit 3 additional Lage uppers to my RPB lower.
  15. Good afternoon, Gents. I'm looking for a rifle-length M203 Handguard with the leaf site in good or better condition. Let me know if you've got one tucked away. Thank you!
  16. I don't know if you're still looking, but there's one on gunbroker right now for $8999 with some extra parts. It's not mine, either - just passing info.
  17. Seconds on the Colt m203 if it's the A2 variant (non rail mount)
  18. Bump. There's got to be one of these floating around.
  19. Good morning, Gents. Looking to find a BRP Corp XMG kit and accesories package, if anyone still has one/knows of one. Have cash in hand. Let me know what if you'd like to sell. Thanks!
  20. Good afternoon, Gents. Testing the waters to see what is available at the moment. I'm looking for a new .30 caliber toy. I don't presently have an example of a squad automatic and am thinking about the following items in order of desire: MG34 - rewats OK as well. FN FAL - a SAR 48 in Israeli Heavy configuration would be ideal, but others considered. Fixed AK47 - I have a type 56 folder. But a fixed I could build into an RPK. 1919A4/A6 - not a huge fan of these, but will take a look. Thank you! Have a great Fourth of July!
  21. Good afternoon, Gents! I'm looking for a Lage Max10-9 slow fire upper for the M10 smg, as Lage Manufacturing presently has them on backorder. Mark 1 or 2 considered, preference for Mark 2. I've already got the Max 10/31 and Max 10-45 upper. Please let me know if you've got a 9mm that you'd part with. Thank you!
  22. Some years ago, Ruben Mendiola had for sale an AR15 that had a conversion device somehow installed in the forward assist. It was also 'married' to the weapon, and the upper was not able to be replaced. I always wanted to know more about that rifle, but never got around to asking about it. Maybe this is something similar? It could even be the same gun, for what it's worth.
  23. These guys have said most of it all. The only thing I would mention depends on if its a factory (Colt) or a conversion like Sendra or SGW. Sometimes those can be out of spec and need to be sent to a competent smith.
