Returning PMs is a courteous thing to do if its not yet marked sold.
@Baker44 I sent you a PM about 3hrs ago....
You should see it in your mailbox, up by your account/sign in area.
11 minutes ago, Bill in Bama said:With all due respect, the "experts tell me there is a red x for every file so I can delete it, but there isn't. Right clicking usually brings up an option to delete but not in this case. I cannot figure out how to delete any files (in fact, somewhere it tells me they cannot be deleted). The experts say I can and there is a red x I can click to delete a file, but I've pulled up several different Form 4's I have submitted/in process and there is no red x for any of them.
Hey Bill, I think what they fellas above are saying is that your computer or monitor settings may not be revealing the red x's, which is an issue on your end. Ex: I know when my monitor is set to 125% to help my aging eyes, the margins of certain websites get cut off. Likewise, if your anti-virus settings are set to block pop-ups, maybe that's where the red x's are located and why you're not seeing them. Just a thought
Very nice. Being a 1985 model, it should carry a premium over the more common 1986 models imho.
GLWYS!
Thanks for the update @aalbert
Perhaps you can pin a noticeable explanation atop the main Classified forums so more members will see whats going on when they click one of the back-logged notifications and are taken to the Classifieds. A lot of members may not think to come to this forum/thread to learn whats happening.
Regardless, thanks for the site and keeping it going!

Wow, great history here of these late 300xx "Black Rifles". And this one looks like the last one, the 80th of the entire bunch.
Thanks for posting!
FYI this same item is posted for sale on HKPro forum as well as Snipershide forum.
Heads up to OP if that is not him on those forums, looks like his ad and pics are circulating around the interweb ads, or a heads up to @maschinenpistole to alert you to these facts.

Congrats.

An in-state face to face purchase is always nice and easy if you are lucky to find such a situation. A WTB ad, networking, calling dealers in your area and asking around to find someone in your area/State is the approach. Not all sellers are advertising but would sell if they hear someone is looking locally. Might take longer and more work for you to call around and follow up, but its another pretty darn safe option. You can see the person, the item, etc and do all paperwork in person. Good luck
I missed that this was a 1985 year. Thats a big bonus imho. Most M11/9 you see are 1986. I read there was a lot of "scrambling" done to try to beat the deadline that year and quality control suffered a tad. A 1985 should be a racehorse.
Great deal here, and even better Seller. I have met and dealt with Sleepy several times now and he is one of the good guys. Deal with confidence folks.

Great gun at a great price, the host rifle is easily worth $5-6k on its own.

Very cool. Looks like a huge flash can.

This is a deal. The Howco model FNC is the shorter barrel variant that most everyone covets. It is a big plus in this conversion imho over others. Add in that Houston is a great guy with a stellar reputation, this should be a no brainer for anyone looking for an FNC.
Do you think the money order is legit? I heard some money orders can be faked, and can take a few weeks before your bank gets the funds withdrawn back against it. So beware of the funky convenience store money orders.
You could deposit it and get that clock started, but don't issue a refund until you know for sure its cleared your bank for good. Confirm it with your bank manager. That's another classic scam...you give a refund on something you think cleared your bank but it later comes back denied to your bank. We had a case with one that took 2-3 weeks before the supposed issuer (a payday loan outfit) realized the money order was bogus and never honored it.
Congrats to you both.
I'll take seconds if something falls through.
Form 4 is great for those in Tejas or whatever state its registered in
Do you know if this is the 6920 model, or something else? Thx
Its a Sear host. Anyone buying it will be using it with a Sear.
I'll take this, PMs sent. Thanks
I'll take this, PMs sent. Thanks!
How about sear relief cuts? I dont know if HK included them on the MR556 or not. If you post a pick of the underside of the upper receiver that will tell the tale. Without the relief, the upper wont close down over a M16 registered receiver auto sear. Thx
What is the barrel length, and does the bottom of the upper receiver have the auto sear relief cuts? Do you have the original handguard? Thx

It was a $35k Swedish K, park finish. If I recall correctly it was said to be unfired or very close to unfired. Seller never answered if it was a "tube gun" or not.
