My dealer is telling me that now eforms do not allow one to select anything for the 'type of firearm' field. So those who have paper form 4 and form 3 that say "mg sear" or "machine gun pack" upon transfer will lose that distinction. Probably not an impactful change, but interesting. He points out that the database only has machine gun, silencer, SBR, SBS and SBS. And GCA doesn't define anything else. Anyone have any insight?

Yes that is correct - you can go form 3 or form 4 to an individual non-dealer in your state.
